Growing up as an athlete, I’ve been in the fitness space for most of my life. I was first introduced to lifting through track and field in 2017, and haven’t looked back since. Despite being in the gym for years and feeling like I was doing all the right things, I still wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I was always bigger than my friends and peers. Being tall, carrying more bodyfat and never feeling like I “looked the part”. I felt out of place, insecure and oftentimes discouraged.
Although it was taking lots of trial and error, I was determined to figure it out. After changing my approach to training, my mindset around nutrition and my daily habits, I felt I finally “cracked the code”. I went from 175lbs to 160lbs, while maintaining my muscle I had built up over the years. I sculpted the body I had always wished for and gained confidence I could never imagine having, all while still being able to enjoy a balanced life.
